Yet another win XP FC4 dual boot question
To make the dual boot happen, you'll need to use third party software to split the existing partition on the current drive. It is not recommended to install XP into the same partition as another OS. Install XP while booting to 98 making sure that you choose full installation AND on the advanced button a few screens

I want to dual boot WindowsNT 4.0 and Windows95. I want to have full functionality of NT, so I plan to make at least half of this drive NTFS. and I still have a couple questions about adding Win98 to my new NT 4.0 workstation. I ordered Partition Magic to help me set up the HD to do this. The NT box came with a 20 GB HD which was partitioned into aC: Fat 16 where NT lives and aD:NTFS which I have been putting all of my programs into.

REPOST: Yet another 98-2k dual-boot question
The NT boot manager will automatically install and take care of the dual-booting. Give NT at least a Gigabyte if you can. If you format the NT partition as NTFS, you'll gain the ability to set permissions on files, and get more efficient use of the disk, but it will be invisible under 95.

Is there a way to find out by booting up linux from the floppy or the Install DVD? I am completely new to running linux!
